10 Swimwear Brands to Own This Summer

I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want to wear on the beach this summer! And for a girl who doesn’t actually like to be in swimwear that often, I have an unusually large number of favourite brands. I think it’s their Instagram accounts that I find the most appealing. They make me feel like I have an impending holiday.

Here are ten of my favourites that you might like to own this summer.

If there was an award for best “all-rounder”, it would go to Solid & Striped. They cover every style and colour, and their fabrics are reliable (read: not see-through and boogie-boarding resilient).

Cult activewear line Outdoor Voices launched it’s first swimwear collection this year, perfect for athletic beach babes wanting to avoid frills or spills (as in, boobs spilling out).

Hunza G swimsuits are “one size fits all”, which is great for taking the guess-work out of shopping online, but not great in terms of inclusivity as the one-size approach usually favours those between a size 6 and 12.

Perfect for the girly-girl, Morgan Lane’s goal is to create clothes that can be worn “from bed to beach”, meaning that the label is equal parts silk pajamas and frilly bikinis.

The award for the most subtle use of frills goes to Made By Dawn.

Fella Swim does a great bra-style bikini top for those wanting a little more support.

Arguably the most expensive swimwear label on this list, but at least you know you’ll be one of the best-dressed people on the beach if you’re wearing Zimmermann.

I just bought the cutest one piece from Peony. You should too!

She Made Me is luxury crochet swimwear at it’s best. Worn best with a tan and shell necklace.

Zulu and Zephyr also make the world’s cutest kids togs so if you’re a mum you can have a matching moment (!!) this summer.
