How You Can Have Brunch With The Twenties Club And Estée Lauder
Late last year, Estée Lauder approached me to work together on the launch of one of their most exciting products to date – the Double Wear Nude Water Fresh Foundation. Tired of traditional beauty PR launches, we shared the same vision of doing things a little differently; including my readers (Hi!!! That’s you!!) in an authentic way and celebrating the broader messages behind this foundation.
Estée Lauder Double Wear Nude is the little sister to the brand’s cult Double Wear foundation. Unlike the original, Double Wear Nude is a lightweight, medium coverage foundation designed to look fresh and real. The pigments used in the foundation are wrapped in a flexible polymer that makes the product move with your the skin. I can say this with relative certainty because I took a bottle of the foundation with me to New York and Hawaii and it held up impressively in two very different climates, as well as protecting my skin from sun and pollution due to it’s SPF25. But perhaps my favourite feature of this foundation is that it still lets my freckles peek through; it doesn’t change my skin.
To me, this aligns with a much broader movement I’ve noticed in the beauty industry in recent months which is this idea that we are no longer using make to change our appearance, but rather to celebrate it. Double Wear Nude essentially encourages girls to go “nude” with their true self and their true skin, even the parts we aren’t always comfortable with: Freckles, acne, scarring or pigmentation, which leads me to the brunch we are hosting next month.
On the 8th of February, Estée Lauder and The Twenties Club are hosting a brunch at the Mission Bay Pavillion in Auckland with a very small group of bloggers and influencers. I want you and your best friend to come as my guests, but more importantly, as my friends. To apply, all you need to do is Direct Message me on The Twenties Club’s Instagram or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell me about a friend who has inspired you to feel more comfortable in your own skin. Perhaps they simply lead by example, or perhaps they have overcome skin issues, whether that be scarring, burns or acne, and now radiate confidence and grace. I want to hear from you.
The other influencers will be running similar competitions to find their two guests and I CANNOT WAIT to meet everyone.
You must be available on the 8th of February, between 10am and 12pm, and either live in Auckland or be able to provide your own transport to Auckland for the day.
Entries close on Tuesday 16th January at 8pm.
I can’t wait to hear from you ♥
