NZFW ’18: Recreate MAC’s Dewy Skin + Pink Lids from Twenty-Seven Names

I had the privilege of capturing some behind-the-scenes magic at this morning’s Twenty-Seven Names A/W19 show at NZFW.

MAC Senior Artist Kiekie Stanners led the team of makeup artists who were asked to “celebrate the girls and the skin they’re in – with a touch of hot pink.” The result was youthful, healthy looking skin, fluffy brows and the coolest eyeliner.

This is how they did it…

“Real girls, celebrating the skin that they’re in. A pop of candy pink liner for some fun around the eyes.”

Lightful C Softening Lotion to smooth and prep the skin. Then hydrate with Complete Comfort Creme, massaged into the skin.

Finish skin with a MAC #217 Brush used to melt Waterweight Concealer into the skin where needed.

Shape and Shade Brow Tint Pen to fill in brows. Mix together “Pure White” Chromaline (gel-like/cream liner) with “Process Magenta” Pigment to create a soft pink, applied to the upper lash line with a MAC #209 Eye Liner Brush. Apply “Bright Pink” Powder Blush on top of pigment line to intensify colour.

Exfoliate, plump and prep lips using Lip Scrubtious, and then apply Lip Conditioner to finish.
