Twenty Questions with Morgan Munday

Welcome To Twenty Questions!

Every week I’ll be sharing a new twenty-something on the blog and their responses to twenty quick-fire, intimate questions about themselves. No one featured on Twenty Questions is a celebrity or public figure, and most of these people I don’t know very well, or at all. My hope is that by taking a peek into someone else’s soul you will realise that, despite our fundamental differences, we still have similar insecurities, make similar mistakes and have fought similar battles to become the people we are today.

Morgan Munday, 23

What is your full name?

Morgan Kasee(pronounced Casey) Munday.

Where were you born?

Albany, Western Australia.

What do you do for work?

I am the Visual Merchandiser at bassike.

What do you do for fun?

Apart from making things look pretty I love picking my face, getting unintentionally drunk, catching people off guard on snap chat, finding myself deep in an Instagram or Pinterest vortex, Eating peanut butter with a spoon from the jar, people watching, laughing until I cry, patting dogs, eating, imagining myself in hypothetical situations, self diagnosing via Google  and watching documentaries.

Did you go to university? If so, what did you study? If not, why?

No. I’m a beauty school drop out (literally) I did a hairdressing apprenticeship when I was 15.

What is your favourite movie of all time?

Clueless, Duh!

What is the biggest risk that has paid off?

I moved to Sydney solo when I was twenty and started from scratch. It was tough, but It was the most incredible experience and I wouldn’t change a thing. I have met some of the most generous, inspiring and completely lovely people.

Hardest moment of my twenties?

Not knowing what I want to be when I grow up and deciding whether to have avocado with haloumi or avocado with goats feta on toast.

Best moment of my twenties?

Summer ’16. I don’t think I have ever smiled or laughed so hard in my life. My cheeks hurt for 3 months straight.

My mum. Or maybe it’s her cheesecake.

I’m a very good judge of character and have an all year round tan (thanks dad).

What do you like the least about yourself?

My indecisiveness. Becomes a relatively big issue when I’m hangry and can’t decide what I want to eat. Rarely ends well.

If you had to get a tattoo, what would you get and where would you get it? If you have tattoos what is your favourite?

I have a tiny unicorn tattoo on my butt. Because those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.

How would your friends describe you?

Apparently my personality could be compared to Labrador puppy so..

How would your parents describe you?

All over the place. In more ways than one.

When was the last time you cried?

I can’t remember but it was probably a financial meltdown.

What are you afraid of?

Not doing ‘enough’ and never being ‘enough’.

If you could start your twenties again what would you do differently?

I’d love to have more confidence, self love and a ‘zero fucks’ attitude.
